Wanna supercharge your hydration? Eat your water.
We all know it’s important to drink 2L, or 8 glasses of water each day. But did you know it’s also really important to hydrate yourself from the inside out?
One of the best ways to do this is by incorporating fresh, water-rich plants into your daily diet.
The water found in juicy plants like cucumber, raspberries, radishes or berries is trapped in webs of other nutrients, like vitamins, minerals and fibres. This means your body absorbs this water slowly, but you hold onto it and stay hydrated for much longer. (Plus, you get the benefit of those other nutrients we know and love).
So, key takeaways? Keep knocking back those litres, but remember to give your cells a big drink too. Hydrate efficiently from the inside out with hydrating, fresh, delicious produce.
And look, we're not here to tell you what to do, but letting your hydration levels dip isn't the best move to make. Read about how dehydration impacts your brain here.
